Capacity Building Seminar for Prison Medical Officers

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka conducted a capacity building seminar for prisons officers from across the island on the 2nd of November 2022 at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.
The mental health training component was provided by the Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists. Several sessions on common mental health disorders in prisoners and managing substance misuse disorders in a prison setting were conducted by resource persons from SLCPsych.
