Prof Raveen Hanwella

 

Prof. Hanwella is a professor in psychiatry at the Department of Psychological Medicine, University of Colombo and is the immediate past President of Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists, Ceylon College of Physicians and Postgraduate institute of medicine. He has published over 90 scientific papers in local and international journals.

 

 

 

Dr Harischandra Gambheera

Dr. Gambheera retired from the Ministry of Health in 2016 as a Consultant Psychiatrist. He is a past president of the Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists, past president of the SAARC Psychiatric Federation and the Head of the UNESCO Bio-Ethics Committee of Sri Lanka. He has written chapters in several text books, published several papers in international journals and conducted presentations in many local and international conferences.

 

 

 

Prof K A L A Kuruppuarachchi

 

Prof Kuruppuarachchi is the founder professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine Ragama and currently holds the posts of  senior professor of psychiatry. He is a fellow of Royal College of Psychiatrists and the Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists. He has numerous publications in both local and international journals

 

 

 

Dr Ranil Abeyasinghe                              

 

Dr. Abeysinghe is a consultant psychiatrist and formally the head of the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists. He has published many research papers in various local and international journals.

 

 

 

 

Dr S Sivayokan

                                          

Dr. Sivayokan is a consultant psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists. He has been serving in the field of mental health and psychiatry in various capacities since 1994. He spent most of his career in Jaffna, organizing and delivering a wide range of mental health services despite poor resource settings.
